I was pretty uncertain about this game when it came out. My kids had seen it on T.V. and of course just had to have it. I wasn’t so sure, especially with that high price tag (which seems to be the norm for Wii games). So, I did what I always do and hit the net for customer reviews, comments and complaints.
I found lots of individuals who weren’t too happy with their purchase of Wii Music so I shyed away from it for quite some time. The kids had forgotten about it and so did I. Well, about a week ago, hubby and I were out looking for gifts for the kids and went to the video game section of Wal-Mart and saw the Wii Music on the shelf.
I had been wanting to get the kids off the game we bought them last which turns out wasn’t something I liked for the kids. Too dark. Anyway, I was afraid to spend so much on another game afraid it would just sit there on the shelf and not get used but I gave in and bought it. I am so glad I did. The kids loved it. In fact, here is my princess rockin’ out on Wii Music. (Sorry, not the best picture but cute none the less.)
She just loves it. She’s 5 soon to be 6 and wants to play this all the time now. She even told us today she want to play guitar when she gets bigger. Coming from a family of musician’s (I am not one of them) she’s got the music in her and Wii Music is great way for her to express herself, practice tempo on different instruments and have fun all at the same time. She also like to be conductor with the baton and saving her music videos 🙂 That’s my girl and daddy’s little rocker!
I can see how this didn’t get the greatest reviews, it isn’t a game for everyone. It’s for very young children, teens as well as adults would probably not enjoy it much unless of course you are a parent watching your little one have fun like me. Sometimes, you can’t go by what all the reviews say about a product. Use your judgement. You may just be pleasantly surprised.
